We at the Lodge at Red River Ranch are always excited about visiting Bryce Canyon National Park. Throughout the entire year, Bryce Canyon offers a chance to take a break and admire the beauty of nature. This month, Bryce Canyon released its list of free entrance days. We thought we’d pass them on to you:
April 22-26 – National Park week
August 25 – The ninety-seventh birthday of the National Park Service
September 28 – National Public Lands Day
November 9-11 – Veterans Day Weekend
There is always so much to do in Bryce Canyon National Park. We at the Lodge love to take the time to play among the hoodoos, check out the visitor center, and do a few hikes. We highly suggest you hike the Mossy Cave Trail. Mossy Cave is one of the most unique (and most secret) places in Bryce Canyon. Of course there are plenty of other trails worth exploring, check out this post for more info.
If you are an amateur or professional photographer, Bryce is a perfect place to spend a few days. The red rock amphitheater is a great location to create HDR images.
Bryce Canyon is not only a great place to spend your days, but it is also a fantastic place to spend your nights. Because of its remote location and high elevation, Bryce Canyon has very little light pollution. This means you can see much more of the night sky than usual. Consider camping for a night or two.
Whatever draws you to Bryce Canyon National Park, we at the Lodge at Red River Ranch hope you enjoy your trip. And if you can get in on a free day, so much the better.
