Explore nature’s rugged beauty
The Lodge at Red River Ranch lies at the heart of the most stunning and diverse country imaginable. A few minutes drive will take you into Capitol Reef National Park—one of the true treasures of the southwest. The transcendent cliffs and monoliths of the park are some of the most awe-inspiring examples of nature you will find anywhere. Hike, climb, ride, photograph, and scramble around our wonderful backyard — Capitol Reef. While you’re at it be sure to explore other nearby spectacular playgrounds: Goblin Valley, Escalante/Grand Staircase, Moab, Lake Powell, and more. We are also centrally located between all of Utah’s national parks—Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, and Canyonlands. The Lodge is a great place to experience the best of Utah’s stunning landscapes.

Wander in wide-open spaces
Whether you prefer to amble among our 2,000 acres of private pastures, relax in the cool of nearby Dixie National Forest, or skip rocks along the Fremont River, you’ll find The Lodge at Red River Ranch a place like none other. Explore, nap, picnic, photograph, or take a sketchbook, and relish a slower pace of life.

Experience a fisherman’s paradise
We provide more than five miles of private catch-and-release fishing along the Fremont River, as well as access to two spring-fed reservoirs. Boulder Mountain is a few minutes away, with more than 80 lakes boasting some of the best brook trout fishing in the state. Fishlake and other reservoirs are also close by. It’s no wonder that many claim we have the best fishing anywhere—and we agree. Book your next fishing adventure with Fremont River Guides.

Adventure awaits
Enjoy horseback riding on our 2,000-acre ranch, or in the national parks and forests. If you want a faster-pace there are plenty of places to explore with ATVs, Jeeps, or mountain bikes.
