This coming weekend, the Entrada Institute, in conjunction with Capitol Reef National Park, is putting on it’s annual Plein Air Art Event – Arts and the Park. Watercolor artists from all over the world will paint the incredible landscapes of Capitol Reef and the nearby environs. You can watch them as they capture the beauty of nature, then at the end of the week, you can buy your favorite pieces at auction. So if you love art as much as you love Capitol Reef, stop by for Arts and the Park 2017. Below is a schedule of events:
Wednesday May 30th – Friday June 2nd: You can watch watercolor artists paint in Capitol Reef National Park and the surrounding area.
Friday June 2nd: Gallery stroll in downtown Torrey from 5pm – 7pm.
There is also a guest presentation by Suze Wolf at the Robber’s Roost at 7pm.
Saturday June 3rd: Entrada Institute presents the “Roots and Sprouts” program from 10am – 1pm at the Ripple Rock Education Area in Capitol Reef.
From 11am – 1pm Suze Wolf will be giving a demo a the Capitol Reef Amphitheater.
The Plein Air Art reception and auction will be held at the Robber’s Roost in Torrey from 6pm – 9pm. Entertainment by Stacy Board.
