The Lodge at Red River Ranch is the premier luxury hotel of Capitol Reef. Founded in 1990, and built on the traditions of the Old West, the Lodge captures the history of this area, as well as its beauty. Surrounded by majestic red rock, fruit orchards, and our herd of American Bison, the Lodge provides accommodations unlike any other.

Over 2,000 private acres of Red River Ranch affords not just a beautiful setting for the Lodge, but privacy and seclusion as well. There is something here for everyone — the avid adventurer, the daring explorer, the experienced sportsman, or the soul-searching vacationer just looking for a place to get away.

Intended to be a retreat from the modern world, the Lodge at Red River Ranch evokes the grand scale of the great Western lodges, with rustic log construction and elegant furnishings — a warm and inviting atmosphere where guests can relax and feel comfortable.

The three story Great Room features open-beam construction with a massive floor-to-ceiling Anasazi-style fireplace. The Great Room showcases a piano, game nook, and furniture arranged for personal conversations. All of which makes the Lodge a more intimate hotel experience to compliment your adventures in Capitol Reef National Park.

Attention to detail is one of our highest priorities. Each of the 15 guest rooms is individually decorated and appointed with antique furnishings and artifacts. Every room includes its own fireplace to provide warmth and comfort. And each guest room features a step-out balcony or patio from which to admire the breathtaking beauty around us.
